Founded by Wade Nolan in 1991, Whitetail University is dedicated to the education of whitetailer's. Wade commented," when I began bowhunting in 1970 there was little info to lean on. We just went out there and hoped for the best. I hunted for 3 years before I took a deer with an arrow and I was the first success story among my group of bowhunting friends. Now I'm going to do what I can to educate hunters and equip them to be successful".

Wade Nolan is a biologist whose passion has been white-tailed deer. After producing the best selling video series "Quest Production Group" Wade decided that it would be important if all whitetailer's everywhere could have access to the kind of scientific information he'd been exposed to while working with deer biologists all across America.

Wade began working under the shingle of Whitetail University and produced over 25 productions whose focus was teaching strategies and whitetail science. In 1997 Wade conducted his first outdoor Writer Camps and still produces them yearly. The camps are designed to allow significant outdoor writers to build relationships with leading manufactures in the bowhunting industry. Nolan's camps have hosted over 100 writers and editors and have made a significant educational impact on everyday hunters. The writers who pen the words in the leading magazines are better equipped to tell the stories of both the hunt and the products that allow for the growth of the industry.

Wade and his associate, Gene Vasconi of Communication Arts Multimedia also teach the industries only Outdoor Video Workshop every spring near Pittsburgh.
Wade now runs a marketing/consulting group with the help of two long time friends from this industry, Bruce Ryan and Brian Richard.
