A buck’s nose doesn’t have to be
on the ground to smell where you walked. The Achilles heel of
scent hunting for whitetails is contamination of the site by
human scent. This is especially true when laying down a scent
trail that you hope a whitetail will follow into your trap.
The only way to lay trails effectively is to use a scent designed
to last longer than your human scent, which lasts 1 day. Only
24/Seven with it’s time release granules will fool a whitetails
nose for up to seven days.
